Onboarding that took hours, done in one flow.
Kali Group has provided pension, health and long-term care solutions since 1970. Enrolling a new employee meant forms, phone calls and follow-ups across employer, employee and agent — the first impression of a relationship meant to last decades.
The results
The challenge
Onboarding is where a pension relationship begins, and at Kali it was the least digital thing the company did. Every new hire meant paperwork passing between several employees, hours of handling and repeated follow-ups to chase a missing form or a missing signature. Employers felt it as work, employees felt it as friction, and agents met customers who had not yet finished the paperwork.
What changed
Building on a Voice of Customer program that was already running, Kali turned onboarding into one connected flow. An employer reports new hires through an interactive chatbot — one at a time or in bulk. The details are ingested automatically and trigger the next step: a personalized web app that carries the rest of the conversation, generates the pension application with its signature and attachments, and lets the employee book a consultation with an agent when they want one. The same app stays with the customer afterwards.
Why it matters
Nine in ten employees complete the process, and almost all of them say it was a good experience — on a form. Nearly four in five arrive at the agent meeting with their ID already uploaded, which is what turns a first meeting into advice instead of admin. Kali launched this while comparable agencies had nothing like it, and the flow it built is now the base for what comes next.
Your customers are already telling you what to do next.
